"Day of Friendship of Peoples"
On July 17, 2025, at the National Library of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Republican Committee for Family and Women, a round-table discussion on the topic "July 30 — Day of Friendship of Peoples" and a presentation of writer Iqboloy Umarova's book "O‘gay taqdir" were held within the "Day of Reading Mothers".
Speakers at the event expressed their views on the proclamation of July 30 as the "Day of Friendship of Peoples" and on the wide celebration of this day in our country as a special holiday.
The presented book by writer Iqboloy Umarova brings together the author's selected novellas and stories. The works cover human destiny, life's trials, everyday worries, joys and happiness, as well as the author's childhood memories and life lessons.
This book is intended for a wide readership, and there is no doubt that every reader will find in it the lessons and answers they need.
