Within "Reading Week", a spiritual and educational event on the theme "The book is a treasury of thought" was held at the Fergana District Information and Library Center.
Ilhomjon Toshpo'latov, Deputy Hokim of Fergana District, took part in the event.
In his speech he noted that reading is both directly and indirectly linked to future success. After all, a person who reads a lot easily absorbs new information and data, learns faster, and acts with self-confidence in a rapidly changing world. Proceeding from this, he stressed that in this age of digital technologies the ability to read and comprehend is becoming a competitive advantage for people.
During the event, stage scenes, melodies and songs performed by active readers gave participants an uplifting mood, and they were rewarded by the Fergana District Information and Library Center.
