Neighborhood chairman election held in the “Dilkusho” neighborhood

From early this morning, the election in the “Dilkusho” neighborhood of Fergana District began in a festive spirit (https://fargonatuman.uz/news/6813b4e37d27a7b75f5bd0bd) . At dawn, the sounds of karnay and surnay rang out across the neighborhood. The reason: the election of the chairman of the neighborhood citizens' assembly was held in the building of General Secondary School No. 20 located in this neighborhood.

On the occasion of the election, a number of cultural and educational events were also organized in the school yard. In particular, the Information and Library Center of Fergana District presented a book exhibition. Literature of various genres, modern and classic works, and books intended for children and young people were offered to the public's attention.

In addition, the school administration organized a national handicrafts exhibition showcasing handmade products of pupils and local artisans. Visitors could view examples of gold embroidery, wood carving and national decorative art.

Before the election, the Fergana District Culture Department presented an artistic program of music and songs for the participants. Live music and songs performed by local artists lifted the spirits of the citizens who came to vote.
