Civil servants set out to promote reading

In Fergana Region, in order to widely promote reading among civil servants, the regional hokim adopted a decision on additional measures for organizing and carrying out the project "A Civil Servant for a Day in the Library".

Within this initiative, deputy hokims of Fergana District and staff of the district hokimiyat apparatus became members of the district Information and Library Center. During the event, participants exchanged views on developing a culture of reading and study, and on raising knowledge and thinking through reading books.

The implementation of this project by civil servants serves to popularize reading among the population, shape a culture of reading and increase interest in knowledge and enlightenment. It is also expected to encourage the intellectual growth of those working in public administration and broaden their outlook.
