A roundtable discussion on the topic "Gender equality - a guarantee of development" was held at the Fergana district information and library center under the slogan "Let's unite to end violence against women."
The roundtable discussion was attended by the head of the apparatus of the Fergana district UzLiDeP Council, specialist legal consultant Saidakhon Otajonova, library specialists and active female readers.
The main goal of the event was to draw public attention to the problem of violence against women, to call on everyone to unite to prevent and combat it.
At this event, topical issues were openly discussed and were beneficial to everyone. After all, citizens of Uzbekistan, regardless of their nationality or gender, have the right to live in a just and peaceful society where gender equality is established.
