#Remembrance_of_repression_victims_of_the_nation
There are such dark days in the pages of history that forgetting them is a betrayal of the future. In the 30s-50s of the 20th century, thousands of innocent people were repressed under the label of "enemy of the people", their dreams and hopes, their aspirations for knowledge and enlightenment were violently stopped. Among them were Jadids, intellectuals, writers, state and public figures who sacrificed their lives for the prosperity of the country.
A round table discussion on the topic "Victims of Repression" was organized at the Fergana District Information and Library Center. "Victims of repression are not only a tragedy of the past, but also an example that symbolizes the value of our peaceful and free life today. Their selflessness, love for the Motherland and courage in the path of truth will never be forgotten.
