Reading books is the foundation of spirituality
Today, staff of the Fergana District Information and Library Center, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of our Independence, held a meeting with book-loving young people at the "Bilimdon" children's camp in Logʻon village, Fergana District.
During the event, participants exchanged views on "Oq kema" by Chingiz Aitmatov, a distinguished writer of the Kyrgyz people. An interesting conversation was held about the content and essence of the work and the ideas of humanity, kindness, and protection of nature put forward in it.
Such spiritual and educational meetings help raise young people's reading culture, increase their interest in reading, and widely promote examples of national and world literature.
