Human rights are a concept describing a person’s legal status in relation to the state and their opportunities and claims in the economic, social, political, and cultural spheres; the free and effective exercise of human rights and opposition to violence are among the main hallmarks of a civil society and a state governed by the rule of law.
At the Information and Library Center of Fergana district, a specialist of the Vodil branch library, together with staff of the Fergana district internal affairs department, organized a round-table discussion on the topic “Inson huquqlari davlat himoyasidadir” (“Human Rights Are Under State Protection”).
