The "Literature Festival" held in Fergana became a symbol of respect for creative people and devoted servants of the nation

At the Islam Karimov Regional Theater and Concert Palace in the city of Fergana, as part of the "Literature Festival" ongoing in our region, a festival of literature, spirituality, and enlightenment was held, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Okhunjon Hakimov, People's Poet of Uzbekistan, and of writer, poet, and public figure Yuldosh Sulaymon. The solemn event, held by the regional administration in cooperation with the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, was attended by well-known creative figures, intellectuals, scholars, representatives of the general public, and young people who had come from the capital and neighboring regions. 

First, the guests viewed an exhibition dedicated to the lives and work of the writers and the artworks of young artists.
