“Inspiring the World to Peace and Goodness”
At the Information and Library Center of Fergana district, with the aim of marking International Day of the Girl Child in the republic at a high level, widely promoting girls’ successes and achievements, and supporting their aspirations in all areas, a contest titled “Zukko kitobxon” (“Clever Reader”) was organized among young girl readers of the district’s specialized school.
In the contest, a question-and-answer session was held on the works of the writer Chingiz Aitmatov’s “The White Ship” (“Oq kema”), Tog‘ay Murod’s “Otamdan qolgan dalalar” (“The Fields Left by My Father”), and Gafur Gulyam’s “Shum bola” (“The Mischievous Boy”).
