At the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, attention and care for young people in our country has reached a new level. Now every Thursday has been designated as "Youth Day" in ministries, departments and khokimiyats.
The main goal of this initiative is to listen to the appeals and proposals of young people, solve their problems and initiatives on the spot, ensure their employment and support talented young men and women
A book presentation was held at the Fergana district information and library center on the occasion of "Youth Day" with students of the 43rd general secondary school in the district. At the event, young people were provided with information about books and the culture of reading books.
During the event, the director of the information and library center, M. Umirjonova, presented the book "The First Teacher" by Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov and conducted a slide show.
