Fergana District Information Library Center Report for 2025
On the implementation of the State Program 2024 - "Year of Youth and Business Support", Resolution No. PQ-3271 dated September 13, 2017 "On the Program of Comprehensive Measures to Develop the System of Publishing and Distribution of Book Products, Increase and Promote the Culture of Book Reading and Reading", Decree No. PF-5349 dated February 19, 2018 "On Measures to Further Improve the Sphere of Information Technologies and Communications", Resolution No. PQ-4354 dated June 7, 2019 "On Further Improving the Provision of Information and Library Services to the Population of the Republic of Uzbekistan", Resolution No. PQ-4354 dated June 7, 2020 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution No. 781 of December 14 “On approval of the National Program for the Development and Support of Reading Culture in 2020-2025”, the Fergana District Information and Library carried out the following work during its activities in 2025 (as of the II quarter of 2025):
1. Replenishment of library funds.
1.1. The total fund of the Fergana District Information and Library is: 28787 copies, of which 25666 copies are printed publications, and 3683 copies are electronic resources.
1.2. During 2025, the library fund was replenished with 282 copies of information and library resources.
Of these, the number of books is 272 copies;
- the number of magazines is 0 copies;
- the number of newspapers is 8 copies;
- others –605 received.
2. Service to users.
Main indicators of the Fergana district AKM:
2.1. The total number of users registered in the Fergana district AKM is – 12076, and during the reporting period – 4329 users were registered in the library.
2.2. Total number of visits by users during the reporting period – 39114 times, of which:
- people who visited the library – 37878;

2.9. Excursion: During the reporting period, 23 organizations conducted introductory excursions to 302 users who visited the library.
3. Spiritual, educational and public events
3.1. The plan of spiritual and educational events of the Fergana district AMC for 2024 has been developed and approved. (As of 2024).
3.2. A total of –218 spiritual and educational events were held during the reporting period. Of these:
- Thematic and personal exhibitions dedicated to important and memorable dates of Uzbekistan – 39;
- Exhibitions of new publications received by the AMC – 27;
- Exhibitions of paintings and works of applied art – 14;
- In collaboration with institutions and organizations – 108 events were organized. Including:
